Lorraine Jennings Martin, 79, of Axton, Virginia, passed away Sunday, August 28, 2022. She was born April 6, 1943, to the late Geroge Washing, Jr. and Bell Lipfod Jennings. Lorraine was retired from American Furniture Co. and was a member of Bethel Way Church of Christ. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Clyde Junior Martin, two brothers; Sonny Boy and George Henry Jennings, and two sisters; Virginia Frances Martin and Jean Harris.

Surviving are two sons and daughters-in-law: Randall and Anitura Martin, and Terry and Stephanie Jennings, two daughters and sons-in-law; Carolyn and Gregory Ross, and Pricilla and Larry Keen, one sister, Mellie Brandon, eight grandchildren, and eight great-great-grandchildren, along with several nieces, nephews and a host of friends.

Funeral services will be held 12 Noon, Wednesday, August 31, 2022, at Bethel Way Church of Christ, with Bishop John Campbell officiating. Interment will follow in Roselawn Burial Park, the family will receive friends thirty minutes prior to services.
