rine Patterson Lemons age 84 of Martinsville, went Home to be with the Lord on Friday Oct. 14, 2016 at her home in Martinsville. She was born Oct. 7, 1932 in Patrick County to the late Charlie and Minnie Curry Patterson. In addition to her parents, she was also predeceased by her brothers, Harry, Harvey, and Walter Lee Patterson, and her sisters, Frances Hammock, Pencie Darby, and Mary Lou Rossomando.
She was a high school graduate, and a longtime member of Clearview Wesleyan Church. She retired from E.I. DuPont with 37 years of service in the spinerette manufacturing area.
She is survived by her husband of 65 years, Cecil Houston Lemons of the home in Martinsville, and numerous other extended family members and friends.
Her funeral service will be Tuesday Oct. 18, 2016 at 1:00 pm in the Roselawn Chapel with John Quinlan officiating. Interment will follow in Roselawn Burial Park. The family will receive friends from 12:00 to 1:00 pm on Tuesday prior to the service in the Roselawn Chapel. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Lorine may be made to Clearview Wesleyan Church, 925 Barrows Mill Road, Martinsville, VA 24112.
