Lora Ann Compton King, 75, of Bassett passed away Wednesday February 2, 2022. She was born January 11, 1947, to the late Robert Hale Compton and Jewel Patterson Compton. Lora was a member of Amazing Grace Baptist Church. Surviving are her husband Lloyd Richard King of the home, two daughters; Ann Renae Forbes and Jade Denise Scott, two step-daughters; Pamula K. Biggs and Jamie Irene Wall, two sisters; Judy Glenn and Debbie Gutowski, seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. A Graveside service will be held 2:00 P.M. Thursday February 10, 2022, in Roselawn Burial Park with Pastor Greg Hodges officiating. The family will receive friends thirty minutes prior to services at graveside.
