Lois Lane Branch Nichols, age 60, of Martinsville, passed away on Wednesday, October 3, 2018 at her residence.  She was born in Martinsville on December 14, 1957 to the late Walter Ernest Branch, Sr. and Ruth Lucille Pauley of Martinsville.  In addition to her Father she was preceded in death by her brothers, Eldon Rash and Walter E. Branch, Jr.

She had worked in customer service with the First National Bank of PA in North Carolina before she became disabled.

She is survived in addition to her Mother, by her son and his wife, Justin and Jessica Branch of Bassett, her daughter, Ashley Branch of the home, her sisters, Loretta (David) Crigger of Fieldale, Joyce McGhee of Fieldale and Betty Draper of Charleston, SC, her spiritual sister, Carlissa Wall of Horsepasture and her grandchildren, Cameron, Olivia, Madison, Christian and Jackson Branch and Shawn Doyle.

Her funeral service will be held on Monday, October 8, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of Roselawn Funeral Home with Pastor Tim Gearheart officiating the service.  Interment will follow in the Roselawn Burial Park.  The family will receive friends on Sunday, October 7, 2018 from 6-8:00 p.m. in the chapel of Roselawn.  Online condolences may be made at www.roselawnchapelfuneralhome.com .
