Lewis Wayne Riddle age 73 of Martinsville, passed away at his daughters' residence on Sunday October 19, 2014. He was born February 11, 1941 in Mountain Valley to the late Leonard Elmo and Beulah Eanes Riddle. In addition to his parents, he was also predeceased by his brother Landon "Buck" Riddle, and one sister, Belva R. Turner.

Lewis was a graduate of Drewry Mason High School, a member of Mayo Christian Church, and retired from DuPont in Martinsville as a millwright with 30 years service.

He is survived by his wife of 32 years, Shirley Eanes Riddle of the home, one son Richard Riddle of Richmond, one daughter, Karen Elizabeth Riddle of Martinsville, two sisters, Hazel R. Wells and Margaret R. Cassell of Martinsville, and two grandchildren, Brian Richard Riddle of Vinton, and Brooke Elizabeth Riddle of Richmond.

The graveside service will be Monday October 20, 2014 at 2:00 pm in Roselawn Burial Park with Rev. Curt Ashley officiating. There will be no visitation.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations in Memory of Lewis be made to Mountain Valley Hospice, 22099 Jeb Stuart Hwy., Patrick Springs, VA 24171.
