Larry Washington, 90, of Collinsville, passed away on June 25, 2018 at the Blue Ridge Rehab Center, Martinsville.  He was born on July 27, 1927 to the late Charlie Austin and Elva Craddock Washington in Stuart.  He was also preceded in death by his brothers, Harry Lee, and George Roy Washington, and a sister Mildred Keffer.

He was a member of Villa Heights Baptist Church. He was owner operator of Larry's Electric Co. and was an electrician.  He was a WWII veteran with the U.S. Navy.

He is survived by his wife of 71 years, Betty Washington of the home, daughters, Dorothy Washington of the home, Cathy Hughes of Annapolis, MD and Kimberly Richardson of Jacksonville, FL, a sister, Georgia Mae Earles of Bassett four grandchildren and six great grandchildren.

His funeral service will be held on Friday, June 29, 2018 in the chapel of Roselawn Funeral Home at 2:00 P.M. with Rev. Lewis Harris officiating the service.  Interment will follow in the Roselawn Burial Park with military honors presented by the Martinsville Henry Co.
