Kenneth Earl Gibbs, 78 of Collinsville, died Saturday, April 13, 2019.

Born June 15, 1940 he was a son of the late Hubert Boswell and Ruth Minter Gibbs Boswell. In addition to his parents Kenny was preceded in death by his brothers, Jack and Doug Gibbs.

Left to cherish his memory include his wife Elizabeth Janney Gibbs; daughter, Kelly Gibbs Hamilton; two grandchildren, Londyn and Zachary; sisters, Gale Burgess, Madeline Philpott, and Judy Seidle; and brother, Bobby Gibbs.

Kenny was a longtime member of Fort Trial Christian Church. He had served his church through the years in many different roles; however, his love of Jesus surpassed any earthly bond or commitment.

A graveside funeral service will be conducted 11:00am Tuesday, April 16, 2019 at Roselawn Burial Park's mausoleum chapel with Pastor Milford Witt officiating.

Honorary pallbearers include the members of Forth Trial Christian Church.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorial contributions be made in Kenny's memory to Fort Trial Christian Church, 6356 Virginia Ave., Bassett, VA 24055.
