June McKinney Bailey, age 98 of Penhook, passed away on November 18, 2018 at the Heritage Hall Nursing Home, Brookneal, VA.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Leonard and Rebecca Bailey McKinney, her husband, Curtis Bailey, her sons, Roger Bailey and Edward Bailey, sisters, Ruby Harrison, Ellen Donohue and Greta Bishop, and brothers, Raymond, Garnett, and Pete McKinney.

She was a member of the Sandy Level Baptist Church and was a homemaker.

She is survived by her sons, Charles (Teresa) Bailey of  Penhook, James (Debra) Bailey both of Rocky Mount, daughters, Joyce (John) Huthwaite of Sandy Level, Frances (Dallas) Tuck of Penhook and Faye Martin of Martinsville, brother, Pete McKinney of WV, sister, Martha "Pud" Graham of WV, 15 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren, and 10 great, great grandchildren.

Her graveside funeral service will be held on Wednesday, November 21, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. in the Roselawn Burial Park with Pastor Ronald Coleman and Dallas Bailey officiating the service.  The family will receive friends for one hour prior to the service in the chapel of Roselawn.  Online condolences may be made at www.roselawnchapelfuneralhome.com .
