Joyce Campbell Tucker age 81 of Martinsville passed away on Sunday Oct. 9, 2016 at Forsyth Medical Center in Winston Salem, NC. She was born July 19, 1935 in Covington, VA to the late Leonard and Frances Crowder Campbell. In addition to her parents, she was also predeceased by her husband Byrd Tucker, Sr., one son Byrd "Junior" Tucker, Jr., one grandson, Thomas Wayne Tucker, II, two brothers, Billy and Benny Campbell, and one sister, Doris Paxton.

Mrs. Tucker was of the Christian faith, and had worked as a waitress for over 50 years, 10 years at the former Hut Restaurant, and 40 years at the Dutch Inn.

She is survived by three sons, Tommy Tucker of Martinsville, Aaron Tucker of Fieldale, and Mark Tucker of Martinsville, two sisters, Jenny Cox and Ruby Harris of Richmond, six grandchildren, and seven great grandchildren.

Her funeral service will be Thursday Oct.13, 2016 at 1:00 pm in the Roselawn Chapel with Pastor Don Reynolds officiating. Interment will follow in Roselawn Burial Park.
