JoAnn Thomas Wells, age 82 of Martinsville, passed away on July 19, 2017 at her residence. She was born on July 13, 1935 to the late Brown and Ethel Covington Thomas in Martinsville. She was a homemaker and a member of Hill Memorial Baptist Church. She is survived by her two daughters, Wanda Richardson of the home and Deborah Cooper of Georgia and two grandchildren, Anna Crews and Tripp Cooper both of Georgia. Her funeral arrangements are private.
