Jessica Carol McCallister, 39, of Axton, Virginia, passed Friday May 29, 2026. She was born June 7, 1986, to the late Allan and Mary Grogan McCallister. In addition to her parents, Jessica was preceded in death by her daughter, Abigayle Amos, and a niece, Alana Triplett.

Surviving are her son Allexander "Alex" Hall, fiancée Joshua (Eggo) Eggleston, four sisters; Carly Triplett, Roxanna May, Lori Kerr, and Rhonda McCallister, four brothers; Richard Hankins, Jr., Alan McCallister, Warren Esptein, and Douglas McCallister, a niece, Nydia Triplett, and a great-niece Elleyona Jones, and her beloved five fur babies; Cocoa, Bocephus, Spanky, Broadus, and Murphy. 

Jessica was a bright light in this world, known for her big heart, her fierce love for her family, and a sense of humor like no other. She lived life entirely in her own terms, staying unapologetically true to herself and the things she believed in. Her vibrant presence made our lives richer, and the memories she is leaving us with, will keep us smiling and laughing for years to come. 

A Celebration of Jessica’s life and time to share memories and reflections will be held, 6:00 P.M. Monday June 8th, at 162 Hobson Road, Axton, VA. Bring your favorite story and memory of Jessica and share with us.
