Obituary
James Kyle Powell, age 63 of 819 Burgess Street, Martinsville, died on Tuesday, June 22, 2010 at Franklin Health & Rehab Ctr., Rocky Mount. He was born on March 11, 1947 in Martinsville to the late Halton and Harriett Young Powell.
He was a graduate of Martinsville High School, Class of 1965. He was of the Christian Faith and was disabled.
He is survived by two brothers, Drewry Powell of Martinsville and Ross Powell of Roanoke, and two sisters, Cheryl Powell of Roanoke and Melody Love of Ferrum.
A private graveside service was held on Wednesday, June 23, 2010 at 1:00 p.m. with interment in the Roselawn Burial Park. Pallbearers were S.T. Fulcher, Jr., Paul Burke, Ron Whitehead, Robert Stowe, Jr. and Brandon Reed.
Arrangements were by Roselawn Chapel Funeral Home.
