James Leon "Jimmy" Massey age 68 of Martinsville, passed away on Friday Feb. 24, 2017 in Q Ball Billiard Hall Ridgeway. He was born June 8, 1948 in Patrick County to the late William McKinley and Pansey Mae Foley Massey.

Jimmy was of the Baptist faith, and was the former operator of Skeets Poll Hall. He was a fixture at local pool halls in the area.

He is survived by one brother, William M., Jr. and Mary Lou Massey, of Martinsville, four sisters, Shirley and Clarence Whaling of Martinsville, Peggy Shipley of Ohio, Linda Baynard of Reidsville, NC, and Clydie and Ralph Harrison of Martinsville, and numerous nieces and nephews.

There will be a celebration of life service on Thursday March 2, 2017 at Clearview Gospel Mission from 6:00 to 8:00 pm with Pastor Susan Adkins officiating.
