James Monroe Hobson, 'Squeaky" passed away Tuesday, February 21, 2023. He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Lorine Hobson, wife, Carolyn Fugate Hobson, one daughter, Carrie Lyn Hobson, and a son-in-law, Ted Gardiner. Surviving are his daughter, Julie Hobson Gardiner, sister, Patsy Hobson, and two granddaughters, Mackenzie, and Madison Gardiner.
The family will receive friends at 12:00 Noon Monday, March 6, 2023, in the Roselawn Chapel Funeral Home and a 1:00 P.M. Graveside service will follow in the Roselawn Burial Park with full military honors provided by the Martinsville-Henry County Veterans Memorial Honor Guard. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Martinsville-Henry Co. SPCA or Amvets.
Roselawn Chapel Funeral Home and Burial Park were entrusted with arrangements.
