Iva Jean Ramsey Harris passed away on Friday Nov. 27, 2015 at Chatham Health and Rehab Center. She was born Feb. 6, 1928 in Henry County to the late Kermit and Minnie Bowles Ramsey. In addition to her parents, she was also predeceased by one son, Ronald Harris.

Iva Jean was a member of McCabe Memorial Baptist Church, worked as a waitress for nearly thirty years, and later worked at Martin Processing.

She is survived by two sons, Richard Harris of Fieldale, and Randy Harris of Danville, one sister, Louise Ramsey of Martinsville, seven grandchildren, and six great grandchildren.

Her funeral service will be Monday Nov. 30, 2015 at 2:00 pm in the Roselawn Mausoleum with Dr. G. H. Vaughan officiating.
