Obituary
Herbert Douglas "Doug" Kidd, age 75 of Martinsville, died on January 14, 2017 at the Golden Living Center. He was born in Martinsville on March 19, 1941 to the late James Milton Kidd and Ersie Isley Kidd. He was also preceded in death by his son, Brian Kidd, a daughter, Sharon Kidd, a brother, Bobby Kidd and a sister, Joan Richards.
He was of the Pentecostal Holiness faith and had retired from Hooker Furniture. He had served in U.S. Army.
He is survived by his devoted girlfriend, Gaynell Wall of the home, his daughter, Ragan Kidd of Fieldale, a brother Wayne Kidd of Martinsville a sister, Kay Hammock of Martinsville, four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Doug's funeral service will be private.
