Goldie Delores Woods Bailey, 90, of Axton, VA, passed Saturday, June 8, 2024, at Sovah Health of Martinsville, Va. She was born in Freeman, WV, on July 1, 1933, to the late Cletus E. and Mabel Lucille Bailey Woods. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Lloyd McMillan, and her second husband, Roger Lee Bailey, three brothers, Bobby Lee Woods, Michael David Woods, and Carline Woods, and three sisters: Dorothy Farmer, Adele Wright, and Lucille Kirby, and a stepson Wayne McMillan

Surviving is one son, William H. McMillan of Axton, VA., daughters; Nina Farmer, husband Jeff of Bluefield, WV., Davanna Ashley, husband Herman of Axton, VA., Karen M. Harris, husband Wesley, of Axton, VA., Nancy McMillan, Axton, VA., Kathleen Rahall, husband John of Princeton, WV., Susan Gray, husband Barry of Henry VA., two brothers, William "Bud" Woods and Roger Dale Woods, both of Sandlick, WV, four sisters, Dora Lee Gray, of Fort Walton Beach, Fla., Mary Jane Evans, of Bluefield, WV., Lana Woods of Fort Walton Beach, Fla., and Paula Winterod, husband J.W., of Fort Walton Beach, Fla., Stepson, Randall McMillan of Montcalm, WV., grandchildren; Goldie M. Dillon, husband Aaron, Christy M Berry, husband Chris, Rita McMillan, Jacob A. Gray, Charles J. McMillan, Tabitha Pack, Kelly S. Gray, Tonya L. Harris, Junior L. McMillan, Steven Rahall, and Isabella McMillan, Twenty-two Great-Grandchildren, three Step-Grandchildren, Rose M. Ashley, Herman L. Ashley Jr., and Caroline D. Dix, and four Step-Great Grandchildren, along with several nieces and nephews and loving friends.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Thursday, June 13, 2024, in the Roselawn Chapel Funeral Home with Rev. Josh Allen officiating. Interment will follow in Roselawn Burial Park. Serving as pallbearers will be, Jacob A., Gray, Junior L. McMillan, Kelly S. Gray, Aiden M. Conner, Herman Ashley, and Ronnie Lusk. The family will receive friends thirty minutes before services, and other times at the home of Davanna Ashley at 192 Kaye Trail Lane, Axton, VA. 24054.  The family has requested for anyone wishing to make donations in Goldie's memory, be made to the Alzheimer's Association 4615 Dundas Dr. Greensboro, NC., 27407.
