George Dillard Oakley, Jr.89, of Martinsville passed December 18, 2020, at the Stanleytown Rehab Center. He was born in Martinsville to the late George Dillard Oakley, Sr and Julia Ann Lester.  George served in the United States Marine Corp and Maintenance Supervisor for the Lester Group. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife; Janet Roselle Lewis Oakley, one son, Charles Oakley, brother, Johnny Oakley and two sisters; Sally O. Burch and Judy O. Gravely.  Surviving are one son, Brian Oakley, daughter, Myrna Oakley Fried, brother, Robert Oakley and several nieces and nephews.  Due to Covid restrictions a private graveside services will be held Monday in the Roselawn Burial Park.  Roselawn Chapel Funeral Home and Burial Park is serving the Oakley family.
