Garry Patrick Haley, Sr., 68, of Martinsville, passed Monday, February 3, 2025, at Sovah Health of Martinsville. He was born June 28, 1956, to the late Carl Joseph and Clara Bowers Haley. He was retired as a Security Guard with DuPont, and attended Northside Baptist Church in Bassett, Va. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Carl Joseph Haley, Jr., and five sisters: Lois Shelton, Maryline Finney, Jannie Dunford, Ellen Northcutt, and Julie Parker, and one grandson, Logan Smith.

Garry is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, William 'Will" Smith and wife April, and Garry P. Haley, Jr., and wife Loredana, one daughter and son-in-law, Samantha H. and Calie Cox, former wife, Ramona Smith Haley one brother, Michael Haley, and nine grandchildren: Abigail Smith, Kailen, Jacen, and Ashtyn Cox, and Josiah, Emily, Hannah, Victoria, and Josephina Haley.

Services will be held 1:00 P.M. Thursday, February 13, 2025, at North Side Baptist Church with Pastor Brandon Dupont, and Rev. Garry P. Haley, Jr. officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to services beginning at 12Noon.
