Frank Hubert Capnerhurst age 75, of Wagon Trail road in Ridgeway, died Thursday April 28, 2012 at his home. He was born June 4, 1936 in Philadelphia, PA to the late Martin and Vera Slade Capnerhurst. In addition to his parents, he was also predeceased by his wife Edith Moon Capnerhurst in 1997.
He was a U.S. Army veteran, and retired from Miller Brewing with 20 years service as a mechanic. He was also a member of Haven Lutheran Church in Salisbury, NC, and the Horsepasture Ruritan Club.
He is survived by three sons, Steven Frank Capnerhurst of Raleigh, NC, Richard Allen Capnerhurst of Los Angeles, CA, and David Lee Capnerhurst of Fredericksburg, VA, one sister Ruth O'Donnell of Cherry Hill, NJ, and one grand daughter, Chelsea L. Capnerhurst.
The funeral service will be Saturday May 5, 2012 in the Roselawn Chapel with Pastor David Cuthberson officiating. Interment will follow in Roselawn Burial Park with military graveside honors by the Martinsville-Henry County Veterans Honor Guard. The family will receive friends for two hours prior to the service on Saturday.
