Frances Arnold Nowlin Davis, age 82, of 210 Riverview Court, Martinsville, died on March 27, 2011 at the Golden Living Center, Martinsville. She was born on September 24, 1928 in Bassett to the late Alexander and Mary Martin Arnold. In addition to her parents she was predeceased by three brothers, John, Edgar and Alex Arnold, three sisters, Sara Arnold, Martha Arnold and Mary Martin.
She was of the Baptist Faith and had retired with 20 years service from J.P.Stevens.
She is survived by her husband, Lewis B. Davis of the home, three step-sons, Tony Davis of Richmond, Timothy Davis of Aldie, VA, Thomas Davis of Martinsville, one daughter, Shirley Benito of Cape Canaveral, FL, one step-daughter, Tracy Conklin of Martinsville, two grandchildren, three step-grandchildren, and one great-grandchild.
A graveside funeral service will be held on Tuesday, March 29, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. at Roselawn Burial Park with Rev. J.D. Harmon officiating the service. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service in the chapel of Roselawn Funeral Home.
