Euradell Raynes Atkins age 89 of Martinsville, passed away on Monday Oct. 16, 2017 at her home. She was born July 12, 1928 in Albany GA to the late John Raynes and Rushie Bell Oliver. In addition to her parents, she was also predeceased by her husband Calvin C. Atkins, one son, Calvin C. Atkins, Jr., and one daughter, Mary White.

She was of the Baha'i Faith, and retired from domestic service at the Department of Justice.

She is survived by two sons, David Atkins of Laurel, MD, and Glenn Atkins of Portland, ME, five daughters, Betty Nugent of Martinsville, Carolyn Howell of Lawrenceville, GA, Annie Atkins of Martinsville, Donna Reid of Martinsville, and Zera Cluff of Collinsville, thirteen grandchildren, thirty great grandchildren, and nine great, great grandchildren.

Mrs. Atkins service will be Thursday Oct. 19, 2017 at 1:00 PM in the Roselawn Chapel with Anita Williams officiating. Entombment will be in the Roselawn Mausoleum. Online condolences may be entered at www.roselawnchapelfuneralhome.com.
