Emmett Clyde "LeRoy" Viars, Jr., 74, of Axton, VA., passed away Tuesday, December 4, 2023, at his residence. He was born May 1, 1949, to the late Emmett Clyde, Sr. and Versie Newby Viars.  He was retired from American Furniture Company and was of the Holiness Faith.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Travis Viars, two brothers; James and Billy Viars, and three sisters; Nancy Willard, Sibyl Brown, and Mae Ferguson. He is survived by two sisters, Bonnie Willard, and Evelyn Mabe.
Funeral Services will be held 2:00 P.M. Friday, December 8, 2023, in the Roselawn Chapel Funeral Home, with Director Kelly Ratcliff officiating. The interment will be private.
