Elizabeth Josie Williams Shaw, 82, of Axton, passed Thursday, August 4, 2022, at Stanleytown Rehab Center in Bassett. She was born April 5, 1940, to the late Robert Lee and Lucille Niece Williams. Elizabeth retired from Drewry Mason High School, where she worked as a cook. In addition to the parents, Elizabeth was preceded in death by a step-son; Billy J. Shaw, Jr., two step-daughters; Debrah Shupe, and Tammy Dalton, and two brothers; Buddy and Arnold Williams. Surviving is her husband, Billy J. Shaw, Sr, and special caregiver, Tim Nunley. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M. on August 8, 2022, at Hillcrest Baptist Church with Dr. Doug Ramsey and Pastor Randy Aldridge officiating, Interment will follow at Roselawn Burial Park. The family will receive friends one hour prior to services at the church.
