Elizabeth Janney Gibbs, 86, formerly of Collinsville, passed away Tuesday, October 10, 2023, at TeraBella Pheasant Ridge Assisted Living Facility in Roanoke.  She was born February 4, 1937, to the late Everett L. and Ruby Frances Janney. Elizabeth received her associate degree from Patrick Henry Community College and retired after fifteen years with Social Services.  She was a member of Fort Trial Christian Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of thirty years, Kenneth Gibbs, brother, Everett L. Janney, Jr., and three sisters; Frances Smith, Evelyn Lawson, and Mary Frazier.  Elizabeth is survived by two sons; James Douglas and Brian Keith Martin, one daughter, Sheri Perry, six grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren along with several nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Tuesday, October 17, 2023, at the Roselawn Mausoleum. The family will receive friends prior to services.
