Effie Collins Clifton age 90, of Martinsville went home to be with the Lord on Thursday April 28, 2016. She was born Feb. 13, 1926 in Stuart, VA to the late Frank and Annie Willard Collins. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband Terry W. Clifton, and two sisters, Grace Wagoner, and Martha Bowman.

She was a dedicated member of One Accord Baptist Church, and retired from American Furniture Co. with over 30 years of service.

Mrs. Clifton is survived by her two sons and daughters in law, Leonard and Martha Wiggington of Mt. Airy, NC, and James and Barbara Wiggington of Collinsville, two sisters, Jean Corns of Mt. Airy, NC, and Lucille Robertson of Martinsville, six grandchildren, five great grandchildren, and three great, great grandchildren.

Her funeral service will be Saturday April 30, 2016 at 2:00 pm at One Accord Baptist Church with Rev. Phillip Woods officiating. Interment will follow the service at Roselawn Burial Park. The family will receive friends for one hour prior to the service at the church.
