Edna Buckles Custer age 80 of Martinsville, died Friday March 18, 2011 at Memorial Hospital of Martinsville. She was born July 21, 1930 in Elizabethton, TN to the late Frank Carson and Tisha Scale Buckles. In addition to her parents, she was also predeceased by her husband, Robert A. Custer, one son, Bobby Custer, Jr., and one brother, Leonard Buckles.
She was retired from American Furniture Co., and was of the Holiness faith.
She is survived by three sons, William Michael "Billy" Custer, Jimmy Thomas Custer, and Robert Lee "Robbie" Custer, all of Collinsville, two daughters, Barbara Ann Westmorland and Patsy Booth of Martinsville, one brother, Bruce Buckles of TN, three sisters, Betty Crumbley, Willene Slage, and Irene Potter, all of TN, 5 grandchildren, and 7 great grandchildren.
The funeral service will be Monday March 21, 2011 at 2:00 PM in the Roselawn Chapel with Rev. J. D. Harmon officiating. Interment will follow in Roselawn Burial Park. The family will receive friends for one hour prior to the service in the chapel.
