Dorothy S. Hennis has gone to Heaven to be with her parents, her husband, Walter J. Hennis, her dear sister June Hundley as well as her sweet niece Frankie.

Dot (she told us she never liked the name Dorothy) is survived by her only child, W. Scotty Hennis (Rhonda), her two grandchildren W. Scott Hennis II (Rebecca) and Lacy Hennis-Floyd (Jodi). She is also survived by her great-grandchildren, Sydney Hennis, Riley Etheridge, Jude Hennis and Abbie Floyd.

We are honoring Dot's request that there be no services. In lieu of flowers the family is requesting donations to the Hope Center of Crosswinds Church Leland, NC where her grandson, Scott is the Worship Pastor.
