Dorothy Mae Hayes Witt, 95, of Patrick Springs, passed Friday, March 10, 2023. She was born March 21, 1927, to the late Conard and Alma Perdue Hayes, retired from Bassett Walker, and was a faithful member for 56 years at Blackberry Baptist Church where she served with perfect attendance as Sunday School Secretary for 35 years. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James Clifton Witt, and two brothers, James Clayton and Robert Hayes. Surviving are two daughters and a son-in-law, Gail W. and Weldon Reynolds and Peggy Witt, also one grandson, Brad Gusler, and wife Nina.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Thursday, March 16, 2023, in Roselawn Chapel Funeral Home with Pastor Chad Janey and Rev. Eric Kieselbach officiating, interment will follow in Roselawn Burial Park. The family will receive friends one hour prior to services at the funeral home.
