Mrs. Dorothy "Dot" Wyatt Mahoney, 77, of Martinsville, passed away Saturday, September 4, 2010 at Blue Ridge Rehab Center. She was born in Henry County to the late Charles Stephen and Vida Bell Barbour Wyatt and was the widow of the late John H. Mahoney.
Mrs. Mahoney was employed for many years by the Commissioner of Revenue office with the City of Martinsville. She was a graduate of Fieldale High School class of 1950 and was a member of Victory Baptist Church.
Mr.s. Mahoney leaves behind her stepson Frank Mahoney of Columbia, SC, two step granddaughters Karen D Hankinso and Sharon J. Belec, a brother Charles Wyatt of South Korea, and a sister Iris W. Spencer of Martinsville. She also is survived by nine step great grandchildren and three step great great grandchildren.
Visitation for Mrs. Mahoney will be held at Roselawn Chapel Funeral Home Tuesday, September 7th, 2010 at 1pm with graveside services following at 2pm at Roselawn Burial Park with the Rev. Stephen Belec officiating.
Care of the Mahoney family has been entrusted to Roselawn Chapel Funeral Home.
