Obituary
Dorothy Grant "Doris" Smith age 76 went to be with the Lord on Wednesday Feb. 4, 2015 at Blue Ridge Rehab in Martinsville. She was born May 7, 1938 in Henry County to the late Ernest and Susan Hiatt Grant.
Mrs. Grant was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Later Day Saints in Bassett, also she was a homemaker and retired from Sonic restaurant.
She is survived by her husband of 46 years James Edward Smith of Martinsville, one son, Scott Smith of Martinsville, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Her graveside service will be Friday Feb. 6, 2015 at 2:00 pm in Roselawn Burial Park with President Gordon Hodnett officiating. Interment will follow.
