Obituary
Dora Lee Bell Jefferson Smith age 69 of 170 Lackey Road, Bassett, VA died Wednesday April 20, 2011 at her home. She was born September 13, 1941 in Ridgeway, VA to James Ed and Cassie Higgs Bell. She was predeceased by her parents.
She was of the Pentecostal Holiness Faith, and had worked at Bassett Mirror Co. for many years.
She is survived by her husband Phillip "Smitty" Smith of the home, two sons, James Walter Jefferson, and David Anthony Jefferson of Raleigh, NC, two daughters, Teresa Lynn Jefferson Robinson of Louisburg, NC, and Dianna Lee Jefferson Bennett of Oxford, NC, one brother, J.T. Bell of Jackson, KY, three sisters, Doris Martin of Indiana, Thelma Gatewood of Eden, NC, and Margaret Dillon of Bassett, seven grandchildren, and four great grandchildren.
The funeral service will be Friday April 22, 2011 at 11:00 AM in the Roselawn Chapel with Pastor Kirk Montgomery officiating. Interment will follow in Roselawn Burial Park. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 PM Thursday April 21, 2011 in the Roselawn Chapel.
Arrangements are by Roselawn Chapel Funeral Home.
