David William Johnson, age 60, of Martinsville passed away Sunday Nov. 25, 2018 at Sovah Health of Martinsville.  He was born in Martinsville on June 19, 1958 to the late Delma Griffin Johnson.  He was also preceded in death by his wife Sandra M. Johnson in 2009, a brother, Jimmy Johnson, sister, Deanna Brewster, and a nephew Mark Johnson.

He had worked for Pulaski Furniture as supply room supervisor for 35 years, and later at New Roads as Shipping Supervisor.

He is survived by his daughters, Alley Johnson of the home, Gail (Ronnie) Mundy of Ridgeway, a brother, Gene Johnson of Axton, three grandchildren, Brittany (Justin) Pope of Ridgeway, Tori Fallen (Adam Ashley) of Bassett, Ashley Fallen of Ridgeway, three great grandchildren, Logan Pope, Bentley Lockridge and Haley Pope all of Ridgeway,  and numerous nieces and nephews.

His Service of Remembrance will be held on Wednesday, November 28, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Roselawn Funeral Home with Rev. Gary Barnes officiating the service.  The family will receive friends for one hour prior to the service in the chapel and at other times at the home of the daughter, Gail Mundy, 17777 A.L Philpott Hwy., Ridgeway.  Online condolences may be made at www.roselawnchapelfuneralhome.com .
