Clyde James Nunn, Jr., 71, of Bassett, passed away Friday, October 7, 2022, at Salem VA Medical Center in Salem. Clyde was born in Iaeger, West Virginia on, October 20, 1950, to the late Clyde James Nunn Sr., and Velva Florence Nunn Young. Clyde served in the Army and was employed with Shenandoah Pride and Valley Rich as a Milk delivery driver, and later as an Auto Parts Delivery Driver, for Jim's Auto Parts. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brother and sister-in-law; Steve and Delores Nunn. He is survived by his step-parents; William and Mabel Young, brothers and Sister-in-law: Eldon and Cynthia Young, and William Young, Jr., along with other family and friends left to mourn his memory.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Wednesday, October 12, 2022, in the Chapel of Roselawn Chapel Funeral Home with Rev. Danny Hart officiating, interment will follow in Roselawn Burial Park with full military honors provided by the Martinsville-Henry County Veterans Memorial Honor Guard. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the services at the funeral home, beginning at 12 Noon.
