Charlotte Hatcher Fain, age 67, of 927 Glade Street, Martinsville died on Saturday, May 16, 2009 at Memorial Hospital of Martinsville/H-C. She was born on October 05, 1941 in Patrick County to the late Laton and Bera Harbour Hatcher.
She was a member of Wesley Memorial UMC, and retired from Hooker Furniture Co..
She is survived by her husband, Thomas E. Fain of the home, two sons, Timothy M. Sprinkle of the home, and Gary Wayne Sprinkle of Jacksonville, FL, one daughter, Teresa Sprinkle Grindstaff of Rocky Mount, three brothers, Jimmy Hatcher of Martinsville, Lonza Hatcher of Stuart, and Herbert Hatcher of Collinsville, three sisters, Barbara Payne of Bassett, Etta Perry of Stuart and Betty Browne of Clawson, MI, one grandson, Tristan Grindstaff of Rocky Mount, two step-grandchildren and four step-great-grandchildren.
The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, May 20, 2009 at 2 p.m. in the Roselawn Chapel with Rev. Philip Waltz officiating. Inurnment will follow in Roselawn Burial Park. The family will receive friends from 7-9 p.m. in the chapel of Roselawn on Tuesday, May 19, 2009.
