Charlie Junior Lewis age 77 of 4520 Henry Road, Henry, passed away Friday May 26, 2017 at his home. He was born April 3, 1940 in Franklin County to the late Richard and Nannie Holley Lewis. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his first wife, Eleanor Faye Lewis, the Mother of his three beautiful daughters that he dearly loved, three brothers and three sisters.

He had attended Twin Oaks Baptist Church, and retired after 43 years at Bassett Table. He had been a patient at the Franklin Co. Dialysis Center in Rocky Mount, and he loved the patients and staff.

He is survived by his wife Virginia Lewis of the home, three daughters, Linda (Larry) Dalton of Henry, Brenda Carter and special friend, Phillip Austin, of Rocky Mount, Janet (Jerry) Robertson of Ferrum, one adopted son Leonard Lewis of Bassett, one sister, Nancy Keaton of Collinsville, six grandchildren, and four great grandchildren.

His graveside service officiated by Pastor Terry Covey will be private, but the family will receive friends at the home on 4520 Henry Road, Henry, VA.
