Charles Franklin "Chuck" Sizemore, age 74, of Belhaven, NC, formerly of Henry County, died August 29, 2011 in North Carolina. He was born September 14, 1936 to the late Howard Robert and Margaret Staples Sizemore. In addition to his parents he was also predeceased by a son, David Sizemore and a brother, Howard Sizemore, Jr..
He graduated from Drewry Mason High School in 1953 and joined the U.S. Air Force and served honorably for over twenty years. He worked in Civil Service at the Naval Weapons Station, Yorktown, Va. in the Ordnance Department.
He is survived by his wife, Deborah Younger of the home, two daughters, Jeri Fishack of Watertown, NY and Lara DeBokx of Alberta, Canada, one son, Scott Sizemore of Tucson, AZ, two sisters, Nancy Sizemore Luttman and Gale Sizemore Williams Stowe both of Martinsville, four brothers, O.H. "Bob" Sizemore of Axton, Ryland Sizemore and Bill Sizemore both of Newport News, and James Sizemore of White House, TX, and numerous Nieces, Nephews and Cousins.
The memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 17, 2011, at 10 a.m. in the chapel of Roselawn Funeral Home, with Mark Sizemore officiating. Military rites will be conducted by the Martinsville Henry County Veterans Honor Guard. The family will receive friends at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday in the Roselawn Chapel.
