Charles Wayne Bailey, 75, of Penhook, passed away at his home, on Monday, April 8, 2024. He was born in Ashland, West Virginia, on July 4, 1948, to the late Curtis and June McKinney Bailey. He served in the Vietnam War, retired from Turner's Ready Mix, and attended Living Waters Church.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one son, Bobby Wayne Bailey, two brothers, Edward and Roger Bailey, and one sister, Faye Martin.

Surviving are his wife, Teresa McPeak Bailey, son, Adam Joseph Bailey, two daughters and Son-in-law: Tonya and Chris Thompson, and Amy Bailey, brother, James Bailey, two sisters, Joyce Huthwaite, and Frances Tuck, two grandchildren, Matthew Thomas and Clara Hornick, and two Great-Grandchildren, Avery and William Thomas, and special friends, Barry Towler and family.

Funeral services- will be held at 11:00 A.M. Thursday, April 11, 2024, in the Chapel of Roselawn Chapel Funeral Home with Pastor, Allen Cogar presiding, and eulogy by his son-in-law, Chris Thompson. Interment will follow in Roselawn Burial Park with full Military Honors provided by the Martinsville-Henry County Veterans Memorial Honor Guard.  The family will receive friends one hour prior to services at the funeral home.
