Obituary
Catherine Edwards Willis age 88 of Collinsville, died Saturday Dec. 29, 2012 at Blue Ridge Rehab center in Martinsville. She was born July 28, 1924 in McDowell County, WV to the late Henry and Melecia Hicks Edwards. In addition to her parents, she was also predeceased by her husband, John Calvin Willis, and one brother Chester Edwards.
She was a member of First Baptist Church of Collinsville, and retired from E.I. DuPont and Co. with over 40 years of service.
She is survived by one son, Nelson Lee Edwards of Hillsborough, NC one granddaughter, and one brother Ernest Lynwood Edwards of Hillsville.
The graveside service will be Wednesday Jan. 2, 2013 at Roselawn Burial Park with Rev. Larry Cheek officiating. The family will receive friends on Tuesday Jan. 1, 2013 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM in the Roselawn Chapel.
Arrangements are by Roselawn Chapel Funeral Home.
