Carol Elaine Walker, 73, of Bassett, passed Friday, May 29, 2026. She was born December 29, 1952, to the late Freddie Lee, and Pearl Jones Walker. Carol was retired as a LPN in nursing. In addition to her parents Carol was preceded in death by a brother Kenneth Pendleton, two sisters, Norma Reed, and Nancy Stone, and a granddaughter, Harlie Fain.

Surviving are one son, Timothy L. Fain, Jr., one daughter, Michelle Dowell, one brother, Donnie Walker, and one sister; Vicky Carter. Eight grandchildren; Victoria Fain, Hunter Dowell, Christian Fain, Austin Fain, Sydney Clark, Michael Clark, Eli Fain, and Liam Fain, along with three great-grandchildren.

All services will be private.
