Carl Edward Ratcliff, 58, of Martinsville died Saturday, September 25, 2021, at UNC Rockingham Hospital in Eden, NC.  He was born in Salisbury, NC., to the late Carl William Ratcliff, Sr. and Gracie Harmon Ratcliff. He was an avid Star Trek fan and recently visited the Original Set Tour in New York where he met William Shatner. He enjoyed this trip with sons Ronnie and Donnie and his brother Tim. Carl enjoyed spending nights bowling with his kids and grandkids. Carl made his career in the local auto parts industry in sales and parts, before becoming disabled. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Tina M. Fontenot, and his second wife Michelle Ratcliff. Surviving are his daughter and son-in-law; Kimberly R. Wilson-McCrickard and Matt, two sons; Ronnie Ratcliff and Jannelle Amparo, Donnie and Ashley Ratcliff, two sisters; Marie Whitlow and Debbie W. Forgette, three brothers and sisters-in-law; Timothy and Vicky Ratcliff, Kelly G. and Ruth R. Ratcliff and David Harmon, nine grandchildren; Jordon McKenzie, Gracie LeAnn, Autumn Saige, and Ryan Ethan, Alexander William and Lesley Ann Ratcliff, MaKayla Dawn, Taylor Nicole, and Jacob Lee Wilson.  A Celebration of Life Service with his brother will be held at 2:00 P.M. Sunday, October 3, 2021, in the Roselawn Chapel Funeral Home. Kelly G. Ratcliff officiating.  The interment will be private.  The family will receive friends one hour prior to services.
