Brandie Marie Riggs age 37 of 11793 Greensboro Road, Ridgeway, died Friday Feb. 11, 2011 in Henry County. She was born June 11, 1973 in Martinsville to Gilbert Thomas Riggs III, and Joanne Green Riggs, both of the home in Ridgeway. She was predeceased by one brother, Jeffrey Dwayne Riggs, her maternal grandfather, Lonnie Green, and her paternal grandmother, Edith Seay Riggs.
She was a graduate of Fieldale-Collinsville High School Class of 1991, and worked at CVS Pharmacy in Ridgeway. She was of the Methodist faith.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by two sons, Matthew Dwayne Woolridge, and Hunter Charles Woolridge of the home, one brother, Gilbert Thomas Riggs, IV of the home, maternal grandmother, Vennie Mullins Green of Matoaka, WV, paternal grandfather, Gilbert "Junior" Riggs of Martinsville, aunts, uncles, and one niece, Caileigh Elizabeth Riggs.
The funeral service will be Wednesday February 16, 2011 at 2:00 PM in the Roselawn Chapel with Pastor Sammy Caldwell officiating. Interment will follow in Roselawn Burial Park. The family will receive friends from 12:00 to 2:00 PM prior to the service Wednesday, and at other times at the home on 11793 Greensboro Road, Ridgeway.
