Bonnie Lawson Odom, 91, formerly of Ridgeway,  Bonnie went to her heavenly home from Lower Cape Fear Life Care Center in Wilmington, NC  Thursday March 5, 2020, surrounded by her loving family.  Bonnie was born in Fieldale, Virginia on July 12, 1928, to the late Walter Price Stevens and Stela May Anderson.  Bonnie attended Spencer Penn School; formerly a member of Old Well Christian Church, and later moving to Newport News, Virginia, joined the Christian Science movement. While living here Bonnie met her first husband Guy A. Lawson after his death and moving to Newport News she married Mr. John H Odom who also preceded her.  In addition to her parents and both husbands, she is preceded in death by  seven siblings.  Surviving are her daughter and son-in-law, Mary Ann and Ronald Hill, seven grandchildren and sixteen great grandchildren.  A Celebration of Bonnies' life will be held 11:00 A.M. Monday March 9, 2020, at graveside in the Roselawn Burial Park, with Director Kelly Ratcliff officiating.  Interment will follow. The family will receive friend's half hour prior to the services.  Roselawn Chapel Funeral Home and Burial Park was entrusted with arrangements.
