Bonnie Byrd Jefferson age 69 of Martinsville passed away on Sunday Feb. 3, 2019 at her home. She was born July 27, 1949 in Martinsville to the late James Edward and Nina Turner Byrd. She was also preceded in death by her brother James Nolen Byrd.

Bonnie worked at DuPont for 17 years as a manufacturing technician, and she attended Patrick Springs Christian Church. She loved all crafts, hairdressing and painting.

She is survived by her husband of 41 years, Ray Jefferson of the home, two sons, Ron and Todd Turner of Martinsville, two special grandsons,  Josh and Ben Turner,  grandchildren, Cody Turner, Ashley Turner, and Caitlydn Turner.

Bonnie's funeral service will be held on Wednesday, February 6, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Roselawn Funeral Home with Chaplain Barry Webster officiating the service.  Interment will follow in the Roselawn Burial Park.  The family will receive friends from 12:30 until time of service on Wednesday in the chapel of Roselawn.
