Bobby Wayne Robertson age 80 of Martinsville, passed away on Wednesday April 19, 2017 at Memorial Hospital. He was born Oct. 12, 1936 in Henry County to Arnetta H. Robertson of Martinsville, and the late William Harry Robertson. In addition to his father, he was also predeceased by his sister, Eldean Robertson Mills.

Mr. Robertson graduated from Martinsville H. S., served in the U.S. Army and rose to the rank of SP4 in the construction/surveyor field with the 538th Eng. Bn. He was a draftsman and architect with National Homes, and later worked for the Lester Group. He was a 50 year Life Member of Patrick Henry Lodge #82, K. of P., and a member of the Figsboro Ruritan Club for over 40 years. Wayne was also a member of the Kentucky Colonels for over 45 years.

In addition to his mother,He is also survived by his wife of 52 years Mary Sapp Robertson of the home, one son and daughter in law, Ricky and Teresa Robertson of Martinsville, one granddaughter Katelyn of Martinsville, two brothers and sister in laws, Harry "Willie" and Sarah Robertson, C.J. and Myrtle Robertson, all of Martinsville. The pallbearers will be Tim Robertson, Robbie Mills, Alan Robertson, Kirk Robertson, Eddy Dean Mills, and Jacob Boyer.

His funeral service will be Saturday April 22, 2017 in the Roselawn Chapel at 11:00 am with Dr. G.H. Vaughan officiating. Interment will follow in the Roselawn Mausoleum with flag folding by the Veterans Honor Guard of Martinsville and Henry County.
