Billy Gene Taylor, Sr., 87, of Ridgeway, passed Sunday, January 26, 2025. He was born in Glyn Gene, West Virginia, on March 28, 1937, to the late Dowell Onell and Lucy Handy Taylor. He served in the United States Navy during the Vietnam conflict, and was retired after 30 years with Bassett-Walker. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Sara Tuttle Taylor, thee sons; Darrell Keith, Kenneth Lee, and Ronald Eugene Taylor, four brothers, Bobby, Jerry, Ray, and Clem Taylor and two sisters, Margaret T. Clark and Judy T. Tyler.  Surviving are one son, Billy Gene Taylor, Jr., and one daughter, Cynthia Carol Taylor Miller.

At the families request services will be private. Roselawn Chapel Funeral Home and Burial Park entrusted with arrangements.
