Obituary

Betty Ruth Perry Kipfinger, age 82, of Martinsville, died on December 15, 2010 at the Blue Ridge Rehab Center, Martinsville. She was born in Vivian, West Virginia on January 11, 1928 to the late Henry and Pearl Finney Perry. In addition to her parents she was predeceased by her husband David Kipfinger, Sr., two sons, Timothy Kipfinger, and Steven Kipfinger, one daughter, Catherine Kipfinger, two brothers, Earl Perry and James Perry and three sisters, Marie Turner, Elouise Koger and Sissy Shoun.
She was a member of Clearview Wesleyan Church and had worked for Bassett Furniture Ind. for over 15 years.
She is survived by three sons, David Kipfinger, Jr., of Martinsville, Kelly Kipfinger of Sanville, and Phillip Kipfinger of Billings, Montana, one daughter, Judith Ann Guerria of Tabor City, NC, two sisters, Henrietta Turner of Williamsburg and Catherine Spencer of Buffalo, NY, eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
A Memorial service will be held on Thursday, December 16, 2010 at 2:00 P.M. in the Chapel of Roselawn Funeral Home with Rev. Douglas Ramsey officiating the service. The family will receive friends for one hour prior to the service in the Roselawn Chapel.
Memorial donations may be made to Hillcrest Baptist Church, Building Fund, 180705 A.L. Philpott Hwy., Ridgeway, VA 24148.
Arrangements are by Roselawn Chapel Funeral Home.
