Belle Jane Simpkins White age 76 of Martinsville passed away Sunday Dec.3, 2017 at Roanoke Memorial Hospital. She was born July 26, 1941 in Mann, WV to the late Arnold Henry and Verda Ada Ellis Simpkins. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her son, Roary Adam "Moe" White and four brothers, Arnold "Buddy" Simpkins, Troy Simpkins, Larry Simpkins, and Kenneth Simpkins.

Mrs. White attended The Church at Mercy Crossing, she had worked at American Furniture, Fieldcrest Mills, K-Mart and Martin Processing.

She is survived by her husband of 54 years, Roy Douglas White of the home, one daughter, Anita Dawson of Axton, one brother, Albert H. Simpkins of Axton, two sisters, Geneva E. Hess and Patricia Helbert both of Martinsville, seven grandchildren, Brandy Pendleton, Samantha White, Deanna Nichols, Kayla Rea, Travis White, Alex Dawson, and Christian Dawson, and eight great-grandchildren.

The funeral service will be Wednesday, December 6, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Roselawn with Pastor Jimmy Wood officiating. Interment will follow in the Roselawn Burial Park. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service in the chapel of Roselawn.
