Arthur Wright, 90, of Axton, passed Monday, February 5, 2024. He was born on March 25, 1933, to the late Samuel C., and Beulah Lackey Wright. He was retired from Tultex and was a member of Mercy Crossing Church. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by six brothers; Clayton, Lem, Eulis, Noel, Grady, and Chester Wright, and one sister, Mae Adams.  Surviving are his wife of seventy years, Mary Gauldin Wright, and one son, Carl Wright.  Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Tuesday, 13, 2024, in the Roselawn Chapel Funeral Home with Rev. Jimmy Wood and Gary Shupe officiating. The family will receive friends one hour before services.
