Arnold Estridge Hall age 82 of Martinsville went to his Eternal Home surrounded by his loving family on March 4, 2019. He was born Dec. 26, 1936 in Meadows of Dan, VA to the late Luther and Edith Belcher Hall.

Mr. Hall was active in the churches he attended, and the community, which included, serving as a Deacon, Sunday School Director, member of the Henry County Baptist Assist Team, he was a member of the Martinsville Exchange Club, where he served as President, Junior Miss Chairman, past president of the Colonial District(Maryland, VA, Delaware). At his death he was a member of Chatham Heights Baptist Church, and he retired from the U.S. Postal Service with 34 years of service, and worked for Bank Services for 7 years.

Arnold is survived by his wife of 27 years Glenda J. Hall of the home, two daughters, Ann Renee Hall Woodrum and husband Jim of Forsythe, NC, and Allison Hall Davis and husband Tim of Bassett, one step son, Jeffrey Scott Summey and wife Julie of Stafford, step daughter, Robin Summey Hulsey and husband Dan of Spencer, one brother, Clinton Dale Hall and wife Brenda of Florida, one sister, Jewell Tolbert of Meadows of Dan, seven grandchildren, Lauren Davis, Austin Davis, Morgan Davis, Michaela Hulsey, Hagan Hulsey, Tyler Summey, and Avery Summey, four great grandchildren, Noah Davis, Keeley Queen, Mikey Myers and Aiden Davis.

The funeral service will be held on Friday, March 8, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at Chatham Heights Baptist Church with Rev. Dr. Mike Hatfield officiating the service.  Interment will follow in the Meadows of Dan Cemetery in Patrick County.  The family will receive friends on Thursday, March 7, 2019 from 6-8:00 pm in the chapel of Roselawn Funeral Home.
